John is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native with over 20 years of experience in the bicycle repair industry, having worked for professional bike shops throughout his career. A Trek-certified mechanic, he brings a deep, practical understanding of bike setup, maintenance, and long-term reliability.
At Bike Tucson Rentals, John oversees fleet preparation and mechanical standards, ensuring every bike is properly tuned and ready for real-world riding conditions. His approach emphasizes consistency, precision, and dependable performance for every rider. John also has been a bike mechanic instructor, hired to teach new mechanics at various shops around the country.
In his free time, John is a true cycling animal! He is an avid road, gravel and mountain biker who loves tackling all terrains.

Randall Larson is a certified bike mechanic and custom bike builder with a background rooted in performance cycling. A graduate of Colorado State University, he combines technical precision with firsthand riding experience as a competitive triathlete.
Randall has completed more than 10 El Tour de Tucson rides and brings that endurance-focused perspective to bike setup and preparation. His work emphasizes fit, efficiency, and reliability, ensuring each bike is ready for longer distances and consistent performance.
